Currently when you renew your vehicle registration, you have Trust Fund options to direct some of your money to worthy causes, such as organ donation, child safety seats, transportation for the disadvantaged and others.

If Florida can create a voluntary trust fund for Save the Manatee and Marine Turtle protection, clearly it can create another category designed to protect mobile home parks residents faced with displacement due to development.

Why can't Florida have such an option with property tax payments?
