Local Moving Company Offers Displaced Davie Residents Aid

If you are a Davie Resident who was temporarily or permanently forced from your home in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, and you need assistance in moving your furniture and personal belongings, please contact the Editor at mac0202@bellsouth.net.  A local moving company stands ready to assist you in your relocation efforts.  If you still need help in getting back on your feet in aftermath of the storm and moving services can assist in that effort, please contact us as soon as possible.

Temporary Homes for Survivors

If you are interested in housing anyone displaced by Hurricane Katrina, please let us know!  Those who lost their homes due to the storm in Davie are not receiving aid from FEMA.  According to Town Officials, 200 people lost their homes during phase one of the hurricane, when it hit our town. Those individuals who cannot stay in the U.S. Gulf coast need your help too, as many are arriving in South Florida.  If you are interested in providing this type of support, please let us know.
